Frequently Asked Questions (Clubs)

FAQs

Q How many people are there per guitar club?

A We limit the clubs to 10 people per class. When we hit the limit we will attempt to open a second club and divid the group into their skill sets and styles.

Q What do I need to bring with me?

A All you need is your guitar and a plectrum if you have one. In fact we ask people not to bring too much as the space is quite limited. We have everything else you will need.

Q How does the membership work?

A memberships give you access to a minimum of 42 session a year, Access to a premium account for our online lessons, discounts on gradings and repairs/services and more extras. Memberships are set up through a direct debit so your payments are consistent throughout the year. This gives consistency even if one month has 5 club days or i am away/ill for a week. more about the membership can be found here

Q Do I need my own guitar?

A Yes! I have worked with offering spares at the clubs before, but without a guitar to practice/play between sessions you will not make any progress.

Q Do I need to be able to play already?

A No. Brand new beginners are welcome. Due to the style of the clubs new beginners will get some direct support to get them started while the rest of the club is practicing and jamming. This means any level can join and no-one is left struggling or bored.

Q How do I join?

A The quickest way is to fill in the form found on the webpage for the club you wis to join. Alternatively you can give me a call or a message on 07875656351. If I am busy please leave a message as I will listen to it and get back to you (I know right? I actually listen to voicemails!)
